Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated:
This policy explains how MOVIQOO Tech B.V., trading as TRAVELQOO ("TRAVELQOO", "we") handles personal data. TRAVELQOO is currently a pre-launch website: no bookings or payments can be made.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for personal data processed through TRAVELQOO is MOVIQOO Tech B.V. · KVK 42179477 · VAT ID NL870062037B01 · Damrak 68M, 1012 LM Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Privacy contact: support@travelqoo.com.
2. What we process today
The public Coming Soon website does not ask you for personal data, does not use analytics or advertising tracking and does not load external fonts or scripts. Like any web server, our hosting provider technically processes your IP address and request data to deliver and secure the site.
If you email us, we process your email address, name and the content of your message to reply.
3. What we may process once the platform opens
- Account and profile information (name, email address, sign-in data).
- Contact and communication information, including support requests.
- Trip preferences, searches and planning information you enter.
- Booking information, once booking becomes available.
- Traveller or passenger details where a supplier requires them for a booking.
- Company or group information for business and group trips.
- Technical and security information (such as device, log and session data).
- Payment-related information where applicable. TRAVELQOO does not store full card details.
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract: providing your account, trip planning and, later, requested bookings.
- Legitimate interests: securing the platform, preventing fraud and misuse, and improving the service in a privacy-friendly way.
- Consent: only where we ask for it, for example optional cookies or newsletters. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligations: for example tax, accounting and responding to lawful requests.
5. Data minimisation
We only collect what is needed for the purpose concerned and do not sell personal data.
6. Sharing with suppliers and service providers
We use service providers (processors) for hosting and technical operation, bound by data-processing agreements.
No accommodation or travel supplier is connected yet. When booking becomes available, the information needed for a requested booking will be shared with the relevant supplier or booking partner only when necessary to provide that service, and according to the applicable supplier or partner relationship. This policy will be updated before that happens.
7. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we only do so with appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
8. Retention
We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as long as the law requires (for example tax records). Account data is deleted when you delete your account, apart from what we must keep by law or to resolve an open booking matter. Concrete retention periods per category are being finalised as part of legal review.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and role-based permissions.
10. Your rights
- Access to your data.
- Correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion.
- Restriction of processing.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability.
- Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
Once accounts are available, you can export and delete your account data yourself in your account settings. You can also contact support@travelqoo.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The version and date at the top show the current version; material changes will be announced on this website.
